If we're able to give them all a fixed size, then we can also use the display=inline-block, and then the browser should format them as it does with text (in the right order). Alternatively, but still with the fixed-size hypothesis, it shouldn't be a problem to solve the problem on the ruby side, by creating a new boostrap row every N items.

I tried the second solution already, but had no easy way to set the gutter (horizontal space) between cards.

Related problem: we have to decide if we want to show images in that page or not.
If we don't want to show images, then we could probably drop the card layout, as a bare list or table of posts would probably be much more readable.
