The scripts are not supposed to be run from within the sample ISO image. Even if you are able to download the sources, the next step will fail because there is no available compiler.
You should download the ZIP archive and follow the instructions provided on the website. The issue you experience is because BusyBox doesn't support SSL for the wget applet. Please refer to this issue:
