Can you remove the Line 26 at TextToSpeech.cs file. //if (instance != null) return;
and try again.
Because log at this line and This line is unnecessary

from speech-and-text-unity-ios-android.

I am using this on Unity 2019.4.20f LTS
I am getting the same issue. I commented line 26 out and I still get this error:

There is a similar if statement on Line 27 for the SpeechToText.cs. Just comment that line out and you will not get a stack overflow problem anymore.
