This repository contains python code to calculate dawn, sunrise, sunset, and dusk for a given latitude and longitude and date. These timestamps can then be used to create control variables for ambient light in econometric analysis.

The code in this repository retrieves the location of all available EVO cars as well as the current energy level of each vehicle from the EVO Android application. EVO is a car sharing service based in Vancouver, BC.

This reposity contains the code to retrieve the latitude and longitude for a dataset of addresses. The python code utilizes the google maps geocode api in order to find the latitude and longitude of each of the addresses listed in the two included Excel files.

This repository contains python code used to collect daily Google Trends data on specific keyword groups between 2018 and 2021. In order to rescale the data, I use the method outlined in Brodeur et al. (2021).
