You fix that specific problem by increasing the mtu of the tun device. Example:

ifconfig tun0 mtu 65535 up 10.0.3.2 netmask 255.255.255.0

If that fails you might tweak the packet size (the mtu variable) inside the icmptx.c file to something like 7000. I can't remember how I fixed this problem now but it was solved by one of those steps.

and what about performance (usability) is it correct for checking some emails even in html format ? or for starting a remote session ?
