Maybe this helps: there is no "pdfresource" folder in core/components while installing. The folder rights are correctly set to 755
from pdfresource.

I can't reproduce this here. You have to look, why the old package files of a previous installed version could not be overwritten.

Ok, I did it. I've copied to missing folder pdfresource from the zipped package to the core/components folder, added some missing template variables and voila, it works. After that I've set the installation date in the database table to the current date and it is marked as installed. Strange, but solved now.
