Wayland support. about glava

I am on Hyprland at the moment and i got to say it is not working perfect i mean is not in total background but i found some workarounds and i am happy with the result

@Iliageorgiev were you able to run glava on hyprland? How? Mine is giving me "BadAtom" errors. After setting environment variable with env = QT_QPA_PLATFORM,xcb, it runs for milliseconds and crashes with segfault.

@xu8533 are you asking workarounds for running glava in the background or running it in hyprland? If you can run it in hyprland, can you explain how?

It is still running on Arch with Hyprland to some extent if i remember correctly it was fork ,i didnt do anything more than playing with configs here and there and this is the final result , even pywall is working fine with glava .

That looks awesome @Iliageorgiev, thank you for sharing it! Can you tell which fork is it? I also wonder if you are running X11 at the same machine. Mine was working before but I had to login to X11 session to make it work. I am dying to run glava on hyprland so it would be great if you can share as much detail as possible. Current questions that come to my mind:

• Which fork is it?
• Do you have any environment variables set in your hyprland config to make glava work?
• Which settings are you using in rc.glsl?

About the the fork , i really cant remember , but judging by my browser history the last time that ive open was the one from Gitlab . Yes i have X11 installed on this machine. For Hyprland config there are , windowrule float ,noblur ,nofocus ,fakefullscreen ,noborder ,noshadow for glava.

Unfortunately, I still can't run it. It crashes with segfault. I might need to install an X11 WM as a last resort.

I am hiding my comments as off topic. I installed X11 but it is still not working. I doubt that the problem is my cpu architecture (aarch64. i also tested with a x86_64 machine and it worked)

Hey, how do I get glava running in total background?
I'm using KDE and running glava just dims the desktop.
I'm using the above rc.txt config file.
