yes? what should I do with such a kind of issue description? It's working for me so a few more information would be great.
from phpvirtualbox.
yeah but what do you need that's my question ?
but first, why didn't you have still change the in the docker the config.php because of the problem with virtualbox 5.1? or maybe you are still in on virtualbox 5.0?
anyway

Mh, I really don't know what is causing the problem with your setup. I am getting the same readings as in your beginning log file - so container bootup is fine. Did you change anything in your config settings? What is your docker compose/docker run line?
Mine is:
vbox_http:
container_name: vbox_http
restart: always
environment:
- VIRTUAL_HOST=vbox.domain.tld
external_links:
- vbox_websrv:odin
image: jazzdd/phpvirtualbox
I am using a nginx proxy - that's the VIRTUAL_HOST line.
That's my compose file for vboxwebsrv
vboxwebsrv:
container_name: vbox_websrv
restart: always
command: user@ip
environment:
- USE_KEY=1
image: jazzdd/vboxwebsrv
What do you mean with the problem with VB 5.1? As far as I know there is only the version check complaining about a faulty version by using VB 5.1. You can disable the version check if its a problem for you:
https://sourceforge.net/p/phpvirtualbox/discussion/general/thread/565b7f31/#9084
from phpvirtualbox.
this problem happens in some restart. For example just a moment ago, docker have been updated to 1.12.4 and so now the container is no more working if I just restart it even if the vbox container looks fine.
IS there any way to avoid this?
and as for the modification of inside the container itself, it's a bit annoying to have to do each time + that we need each time to recreate a key.... that's why I wanted to know if you couldn't incorporated to your container directly?
docker run --name vbox_http --restart=always --network=vbox_isolated -p 8082:80 -e SRV1_PORT_18083_TCP=vbox_websrv_1:18083 -e SRV1_NAME=dockercentral -e SRV1_USER=hyperbox -e SRV1_PW='something' -d jazzdd/phpvirtualbox && \
docker network connect accessed vbox_http
docker run -it --name=vbox_websrv_1 --network=vbox_isolated --restart=always -e USE_KEY=1 -e SSH_PORT=22446 jazzdd/vboxwebsrv [email protected]
from phpvirtualbox.
I think this is more a problem with vbox_web_srv than the vbox http... Don't you ever problem with the link ?
from phpvirtualbox.
Ok, I updated both images - phpVirtualbox and my vboxwebsrv image.
- version check now finds the correct version - so no message about that anymore
vboxwebsrv
- maybe the problem was caused by opening the new ssh port forwarding, when the vboxwebsrv from the last session is still active and listening on that port. so I updated the run.sh script and I am killing the still active vboxwebsrv first and then estableshing the new ssh port forward
- you don't have to recreate the ssh key every time you recreate the container, I have updated the README for that. You can cp your ssh folder from the container to your docker host and then inject the copied ssh folder from a volume container or via -v flag in your docker run command into the recreated container
Please let me know if it resolves your issues.

okey seems pretty good what you did on paper and sorry about the ssh updated on the host. I will upgrade my setup accordingly. give me just a few days to calibrate all the setup during my free time.

for what I can say, it seems totally okey now :) thanks
