Thanks for the report! Could you please try uninstalling RedNotebook
completely and try installing version 1.6.5 again? What error message do
you get then?

I tried to uninstall, but got the same error message as when trying to
run the program.
Then I get this message:
This installation can only be uninstalled from 64-bit Windows.
I then used Revo Uninstaller to completely uninstall it, and made sure
there were no leftover files/folders or Registry entries.
Reinstalled version 1.6.5 and got the same error message again...
Here's the log file:

Help! I miss my RedNotebook! :(

Which windows version do you use? 32 or 64 bit? Can you try version 1.6.5 on any other windows systems?

Has this version been tested before releasing for all to download and use?

Rolled back to previous version 1.6.1 - working without the above reported issue.

Yes, the beta had been confirmed to work on at least 5 windows setups.

Any idea what may be causing this issue?

I have tried a new method for compiling the RedNotebook executable on Windows. Could someone who experienced the error previously check if one or both of the linked archives below work for them, please?

Both versions run okay on my Windows XP with Service Pack 3 system :)
Beta 5 displays a DOS window when run, showing all activities.
Now if you can just get the Installer to work, we'll be in business! :P
Thank You so much for your continued support, and for the great
RedNotebook :)
