🧠 MouseNet: Modelling Mouse Visual Cortex with simulated mouse vision dataset and retinotopy
- Computational Neuroscience research project on modelling mouse visual cortex with convolutional neural network and training it with simulated mouse vision video dataset.

👩🔬 Waterloo iGEM Synthetic Biology Research Group
- Waterloo iGEM is a synthetic biology research group, and we work on 1 project each year. I've worked with protein design tools such as Rosetta, AutoDock and CAD modelling software in these projects.
- Math & Modelling team lead for the 2021 project NeuroDetech: Reducing the bias in ADHD diagnosis
- Math & Modelling team member for the 2020 project ReMiNE: Closing the loop for heavy metal waste
🧬 Computational Genomics - Queen's University Panchenko Lab
- I worked on genomic analysis using the MutaGene software that elucidates the cancer-driving mutational motifs and signatures for DNA Polymerase Epsilon in endometrial cancer patient genome.
- Inspected and visualized gene mutation data to identify sample groups based on mutational signature exposures using clustering and classification algorithms.
- Discussed results and crafted related conference poster sections to present findings.
