This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Getting Started

First, run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying pages/index.js. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

API routes can be accessed on http://localhost:3000/api/hello. This endpoint can be edited in pages/api/hello.js.

The pages/api directory is mapped to /api/*. Files in this directory are treated as API routes instead of React pages.

Implement post searching

What's the feature

• The user should be able to search for post keywords, in the existing search bar
• The results should be loaded as the user types in on the search bar
• Should be a option to clear the current search keywords to allow the user to make another search

How the feature can be implemented

• In the existing search bar in the header component, should exist an "on change" listener to listen when the user types and make the requests with the API with a debounce of approximately 500ms
• A button should be done inside the input to be shown when the user searches for something, and the button will be responsible to clear the current value from the input and cancel the current search

Add comments functionality

What is the feature

• The post should contain a comment section, listing all the current comments for that specific post
• The user should be able to create a comment in a specific post
• The #3 should be completed, and the post informations in the main page (not when the modal pop ups) should display the comments count

How the feature can be implemented

• The post modal will have a section called comment section, and it will have an input and a list of the recent comments

Replace Hashtag section

What is the feature

• The "Hashtags" section should be removed
• In the place of it, should be shown the most "UP voted" profiles in the page

How this should be done

• Simply remove the "Hashtags" section and replace it with the profiles that have most UP votes in their posts
• Soon a response with the most UP voted profiles will exist in the API

Add a post modal

What is the feature

• When the user clicks a post, a modal should appear, with the same informations that the post already got

How the feature can be implemented

• Just put a modal dialog when the user clicks, and it will be useful for the commend feature that soon will come out

Add social action on posts

What is the feature

• Each post must have a "like" action in the bottom floor of it
• When some not anonymous user clicks on the action button, the like shoud count in the post informations
• The action should be used to rank the posts in the main page, and soon a order option will exist to order the posts

How to implement the feature

• Adding a button to "UP" a post, an this button has to be located in the bottom of the post
• Implementing a "UP" count in the API
• Expose in almost real-time the "UP" count of each post
