No 'clear' button on dillinger.io about dillinger

Sorry to comment on an old issue, but how am I supposed to get an empty document? Cmd+A (Select All) does not work in Chrome on OSX, so I have to delete every line by hand... :)

No worries. This isn't an issue though. I just hit CMD+A then delete and it's all gone???

Hitting CMD+A on latest Chrome on OSX 10.7.5 (latest) does nothing here. I cannot select text with the trackpad/a mouse either, so to get a blank document I'd be forced to backspace my way to a clear document. I take it that this is incorrect/unexpected behavior.

When I go to dillenger.io, CMD+A works fine for me (Chrome on OSX 10.7.5 as well). Have you got anything else going on with your setup? What happens when you try it with Firefox?

Haha oh wow I'm stupid. I simply couldn't see the text being selected due to the theme.. oh jeez. Sorry about that!

I think it would be worth switching the theme to be idleFingers by default. It's better than Clouds Midnight for highlight contrast but it keeps the general feel. It also looks a little bit like a moleskine notebook, which works well with the ruled preview pane.

Sorry to be dense, but why would you always start a new document with a bunch of boilerplate that one then has to delete? It's very confusing for a new user.

Can somebody help? As the above screenshot shows, there is no (obvious) ‘clear’ button (on iPad Safari) to quickly delete all the content of a new document. Nor is it possible to select all and cut... Actually, the possibility to quickly begin with an empty document is the only thing that prevents me from using Dillinger on a daily basis.. How do you manage, iPad users? Thanks

Maybe adding the option to create a new blank document would be a quick workaround.
