Initial analysis: both tests do not leak when ran standalone. Both tests do not use any code from our devtools. It looks to me we are leaking something and these tests get to be blamed semi-randomly. I'd be curious how we do with pull request #286 merged in a try run. Will look into this more, tomorrow.

Pull request #297 seems like is the fix? Also see pull request #300.
