I tried with the latest code (2382a6d) and I cannot reproduce this, maybe it's fixed.

I used default dosbox.conf options, only changing the machine= option to pcjr or tandy.
I didn't watch through the whole demo, only the first few scenes, but there was no obvious speed difference when using pcjr or tandy as when using the default machine type.

Decided to come back to this and try testing an old DOSBox-X version from the time of the report and compare it against the current DOSBox-X, but even with the "16 Feb 2015" release at https://github.com/joncampbell123/dosbox-x/releases?after=dosbox-x-b6cd8c9fff59f5bf9703ac33b6b1521fa232c504, from the same day as this bug report, the demo seemed to run at the correct speed. I ran with "machine=tandy", everything else at default settings. Maybe some other setting must be changed. If there is in fact an issue, my earlier comment above about recent versions being fine may be wrong.

Ok, running side-by-side with https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWdG413nNkI, which claims to be captured from a IBM PC 5160, the old DOSBox-X version does seem to pull ahead. It's not obvious when just watching it normally. I'll try current DOSBox-X next.

Edit: Same thing with current code (6b11937). So if the difference as compared with the Youtube video (DOSBox-X in machine=tandy pulls about a half-second ahead during the introductory text, before the breakdancer appears) is what you meant when you posted this bug, it looks like its still an issue.

Edit2: I tried 6b11937 with the default of machine=svga_s3 and the speed as compared to that Youtube video (slightly ahead of it) seems to be the same as when using machine=tandy.
