@ldngoc-misa You can drag and drop in the menu bar directly, right now. This feature will be developed sooner. This is the same issue https://github.com/cavaldos/Ice/issues/9

@ldngoc-misa I would also check out https://github.com/thaw-app/Thaw - that fork has been maintained since januar this year and seems very stable. They have a preview release of 3.0.0 which still struggles with a couple of macos 27 issues but is getting there.

I wrote a replacement from scratch for my own use: https://github.com/ronny/ellipsis if people are interested in trying. It only supports the basic/main features of Ice (hiding/showing menu bar items) but that's all I need. It's open source, and there are signed/notarised precompiled app binaries too for convenience for people who can't or don't want to compile from source. There are some limitations introduced in macOS 27 that made some things not feasible (e.g. showing menu bar items on a floating bar), but there are workarounds (floating bar is usable but not the most ideal). I also didn't like the Screen Recording permissions in Ice, so this app does not require any permissions except for Device Control and Data Access (I think this was called Accessibility in previous macOS?), even that is optional.

I put up a build of [jordanbaird/Ice#995](https://github.com/jordanbaird/Ice/pull/995) if you want to try the macOS 27 branch without compiling it: https://github.com/RabenkoYevhenii/Ice/releases/latest It restores hiding, the Ice Bar and the Layout editor on macOS 27. Two things to know before you do: the build is not notarized, so macOS will refuse it once and you allow it in System Settings → Privacy & Security; and move the app into Applications before opening it, or macOS runs it from a temporary copy and permissions never stick. Instructions and the list of what does not work yet: https://github.com/RabenkoYevhenii/Ice/blob/main/MACOS27-PREVIEW.md It is not an official Ice build — please report anything about it on the PR, not here.
