sorry for opening issue here 😢
Thanks for the theme 😄
Theme is awsome !!! however the rendering speed on mobile is very very slow, for now im switching back to other ones untill this is fixed
Tested on Ipad pro and Iphone 13 Pro Max
When in live preview with Markdown rendered, any tag grouping displays as completely black, except for "(No tags)"
Tried to write a snippet to fix it, but I'm banging my head
This is the only dark theme I actually like. Choice of colours is outstanding. :)
The advanced sliding panes feature is a game changer for me, but I really miss the way that the original plugin would jump a note when you activated and brought it into full view. Really useful when you have a large stack of panes. Would it be possible to implement this feature?
I am about 90% certain this is user error... but I can't seem to find the Faded Theme settings in the Obsidian Settings Menu. I have placed the linked plugin: 'obsidian-style-settings-main' folder into .obsidian\plugins as recommended.
Regarding panes: I had Andy's previously installed, but uninstalled it once I realized it was a native feature now. After uninstalling, sliding panes work for other themes, but not in Faded, for some reason. I can only open split view.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I would like to hide Vault name option as well as hide or move navigation arrows above the note as they blocking some of the options, espetialy in canvas
Couuld you advise where are those options located in your CSS code ?
Regarding the below image, I'm trying to create a custom inline-code style, which has worked successfully in editing / preview mode using class selector .cm-inline-code:not(.cm-header). When a page is brought into 'Read' mode, however, you can see my codeblocks go out of format and return to some defaults. I was wondering if you know of a way I can select .markdown-rendered code WITHOUT it also affecting code in headers. cm-header is not an available selector in .markdown-rendered, it seems.
I acknowledge that this is not an issue, and I'm sorry about that, but don't know how else to contact you.
Any help is greatly appreciated, though!
Note: The window on the left is in 'Read' mode. The middle window is in 'Edit: Preview' mode, and the HTML elements displayed are for those in 'Edit: Preview' mode.
It appears that your theme uses network connections to load assets (e.g. fonts, icons, or images). This is prohibited by the official Obsidian developer policies because themes should function completely locally.
You can bundle an asset for local use by using data URLs. See this guide.
Please let us know if you have any questions. Any themes that use network connections will be removed from the official directory in the first week of January 2024.
I use the plugin obsidian-editing-toolbar and tested the following issue with multiple other dark themes. All I tested work fine with the toolbar and its color picker.
As you can see, with the Faded theme, all colors are brown.
The same goes with the background color picker.
I know, the table colors of faded are not as they were. That is because I changed them. But because of that, I found the reason the editing-toolbar does not work as it should.
The red arrow is pointing to the problem. The “!important” is the issue. It overrides the CSS of the editing-toolbar.
When I remove it, like I did, the toolbar works fine.
BTW, why is this CSS element defined? Because I just removed the column color definition and nothing changed within the visible table.
