@kborchers Could the site can be restored? Maybe with a banner indicating that it is kept as archive, and future events will be listed at https://js.foundation/events/.
Alternatively, the the pages could be migrated to the new site, but that'd presumably be much more difficult. The new site is mostly meta-data only, focussing on calendar aggregates rather than being a conference site. Besides, it'd be hard to keep redirects.
A third idea could be to redirect the home page only, but keep the sub pages accessible as-is. That way http://events.jquery.orgs still redirects to https://js.foundation/events/, but the other links would work.
