This is about the @author
dates in the individual files. We can list the most recent year for @Krinkle's listing, but honestly I think it's silly to have this information since it's just a generalized (and potentially inaccurate) duplication of the actual repository history.
I'll leave this open for @Krinkle to either address or close as he sees fit.

A while ago I removed all the @copyright
and Copyright (c)
lines from the file headers, and left only the @author
ones. So these aren't copyright notices (not sure how they count legally, but from my intention they are not intended as part of the copyright or license clause).
It seems to be a fairly common trend in PHP libraries to use @author
to indicate who were primary maintainers of a particular component, and the person who introduced it (sort of an honorary mention and presumably as quick way to see who may be responsible for it at the moment).
However I'm completely fine with pruning these, or at the least remove the dates.
