Fr. Il est proposé ici une traduction collective du chapitre 7 "Glossary and acronyms" du guide bonnes pratique en matière de corrélation d'images de l'iDICs

L'objectif n'est de traduire l'ensemble du guide ce qui serait certainement un long travail mais de traduire uniquement le chaptire 7 "Glossary and acronyms" afin de :

1. Permettre aux nouveaux utilisateurs de mieux appréhender et plus rapidement les termes techniques clés,
2. De partager avec une communauté de même language une, oou plusieurs, interprétations et traductions de ces termes clés.

La traduction a été faite manuellement, parfois avec l'aide de dictionnaires et d'études, selon ma connaissance et expérience de la corrélation d'images (chez Kilonewton, représentant CSI en France) afin de traduire au mieux les termes et expressions dans le contexte professionnel de la corrélation.

Suite à donner et objectifs.

La présente version est transmise à :

• iDICs, le groupe de travail iDICs qui a élaboré ce guide,
• à des experts de langue française de ma connaissance travaillant sur la corrélation d'images.

L'objectifs est :

• L'appropriation par iDICs de cette traduction et son évolution,
• l'amélioration de cette traduction au regard de l'expertise de chacun et de la diversité des langues françaises.

En. H#ere is a collective translation proposal of the chapter 7 "Glossary and acronyms" of the good practice guide for image correlation of the iDICs

The goal is not to translate the entire guide which would certainly be a long work but to translate only the 7 "Glossary and acronyms" chaptire in order to:

1. Allow new users to better understand key technical terms more quickly
2. To share with one like-language community one, or several, different interpretations and translations of these key terms.

The translation was done manually, sometimes with the help of dictionaries and studies, according to my knowledge and experience in the field of digital image correlation (with Kilonewton, CSI representative in France) in order to get the best translatation of terms and expressions in the digital image correlation context.

Next and objectives.

This version is sent to:

• iDICs, the iDICs working group that developed this guide,
• some French-speaking experts of my network working on digital image correlation.

The objectives are:

• The appropriation by iDICs of this translation and its evolution,
• the improvement of this translation with regard to the expertise of each and the diversity of French languages.
