Similar to HTML5 input types not being supported yet, the properties that you may specify in the schema such as maxLength or readonly are used for validation purpose when the form is submitted but do not yet create the corresponding HTML5 attributes in the generated markup.

The required and maxLength JSON Schema properties are now supported and create the corresponding input field attributes.

The readonly property is supported provided the flag is set in the definition of the form element in the "form" section (as opposed to the "schema" section since "readonly" does not have any meaning in JSON Schema).

Note JSON Form automatically adds a "jsonform-required" class to a required field's container

to ease styling and a "jsonform-hasrequired" class to the tag when the schema contains at least one required key
