It worked. As for ideas, I have plenty. There are good rust applications scattered but you can only use one. beacuse they use uinput on same device.
https://github.com/k0kubun/xremap is an example. An idea is to change a layer when a certain application is active

I likely won't ever implement it though since it would also be quite a lot of work to make it cross-platform and I wouldn't make use of the feature myself. I'd be open to someone else sending in a PR for it.

While I'm at it, I'll add enhancement issues for one-shot and tap-dance functionality as well.
