Leftover unstaged changes on `main` that the maintainer keeps at step 1 are carried to the new branch but can sit uncommitted until the end. The agent now stages them by name, checks them and commits them as the branch's first commit, then pushes. Done when `examples/julien/CLAUDE.md` step 1 says this and the article matches.
