Because it's a node module, you can include the license text in README (README is included in all primary distributions)

The most important things are:

valid package.json (including "name" and "author" and "version")
include the "repository" field
include the "license" field
read the license and decide whether you need to include the license text. <-- this is the only thing you didn't do

I wrote a blogpost about this: http://blog.nig.gl/post/48848761220/just-saying-something-is-gpl-mit-apache-doesnt (but in general it's better to be safe than sorry)
