先聲明：我也不熟，但是我是這麼做的並且有效。
你應該在composer create-project的那個目錄下執行composer require jsthon/flarum-ext-simplified-chinese
就我的觀察，整個項目的依賴都是composer在管理——在最上層管理——就像git的submodule一樣。
所以除非自己需要進行版本控制，否則git命令不需要親自使用。
