I think they're fine as-is for now. It could be possible to replace these with lenses where the bang activates the lens, but this would require creating 166 new lenses for everyone (when there's currently only ~7 default ones).

Personally I don't think most of these are needed as they can be replaced with the website search instead of relying on site:[url].

Lookg at the first few results, /search?q={{{s}}}+site%3Atv.apple.com could be replaced with https://tv.apple.com/search?term={{{s}}}, I see little value in using Kagi for searching Apple TV. The !aeris bang seems to search for open source projects of a user named "aeris" and should probably be removed. The !agdl bang doesn't support https. The !ang bang can be replaced with search inside angluar.io.

Personally I think if a user really wants to filter for a site, they can add their own lens. Kagi already supports assigning shortcuts (bangs) to a lens.

That's completely fair, and if there are on-site searches that are quality enough, I think we should move to those instead. If you wanted to open a PR for these, that would be appreciated, otherwise I can take a look at migrating them soon.

Until we add more metrics about how often bangs are used, I don't want to remove bangs people could be relying on even if they're site search ones.

That's fair. I can work on cleaning up some of the existing bangs. Personally, I feel that many of the existing bangs Kagis has violate the listed contribution guidelines, such as low traffic sites. I would prefer less bangs in favor of more quality, after all users still have the ability to add their own bangs if they need it. But I understand that these decisions are very opionated and hard to judge without metrics.
