Arya Kashani's Projects

2d-maze-c- icon 2d-maze-c-

Two C++ classes with header files. One class to create the maze and one class to solve it. The maze solver is a recursive Depth First Search solution.

apache-spark-hot-spot-analysis-with-hadoop-and-scala icon apache-spark-hot-spot-analysis-with-hadoop-and-scala

Project focuses on performing spatial queries on a large database containing geographic data and real-time customer locations from a taxi company. The objective is to use Apache Spark and Scala to analyze spatial data and extract valuable insights for operational and strategic decisions.

bankofarya icon bankofarya

fake banking web application to express newly developed skills

c-authenticator icon c-authenticator

an authentication service, whose role is to keep track of username/password combinations, verify that a particular username/password combination is valid, and be able to report on the number of unique username/password combinations that are currently known

datamining-machinemodel-clustervalidation icon datamining-machinemodel-clustervalidation

Project involves: 1) Extracting metrics from Artificial Pancreas sensor data for hyperglycemia, hypoglycemia, & time intervals 2) Training a model to differentiate meal & no meal time series data, considering missing data & feature selection 3) Applying cluster validation to cluster meal data for carb amount determination, assessing accuracy w/ SSE

final-grade-utility icon final-grade-utility

This project asks you to write a utility program that is given input via the standard input (i.e., std::cin) describing the set of graded artifacts for a course, the students enrolled in the course, and their scores on the various artifacts. Additionally, it is given a sequence of cutpoint sets describing the cutpoints (i.e., the number of total points necessary) to achieve various grade levels. The program's output is twofold: the total score received by each student in the course and, for each cutpoint set, final course grades for each student.

matrix-calculator icon matrix-calculator

Coded in Java, a calculator for performing matrix operations that exploits the (expected) sparseness of it’s matrix operands

mint-nft icon mint-nft

Project involves writing, testing, and deploying an ERC-721 Token Standard smart contract on the Polygon Mumbai Testnet

neural-network-for-collision-prediction icon neural-network-for-collision-prediction

Collect training data for a robotics task. Develop a neural network to enable a small robot to navigate a simulated environment without collisions. Key components are data collection, PyTorch DataLoader setup, custom network architecture design, and model training. The evaluation focuses on collision prediction model accuracy.

othello-cpp icon othello-cpp

This project asks you to implement an artificial intelligence for a game called Othello. Othello (also known as Reversi) is a well-known two-player strategy game.

retail-simulation icon retail-simulation

In this project, we'll write a simulation. Suppose that a chain of big-box retail stores is considering a rearrangement of the way that customers go through the check-out process, in hopes of processing customers more efficiently, helping them spend less time waiting in line, and keeping their business from being lost to more efficient competitors. To aid in that analysis, you'll build a program that will simulate two different arrangements of lines and registers, generating a log of the movement of customers throughout the simulation and, at the end, overall statistics.

smarthome-gesture-control-classification icon smarthome-gesture-control-classification

Part 1: Develop a mobile application to control SmartHome devices through gestures, offering convenience and accessibility. Part 2: Develop a Python application for classifying SmartHome gestures. Tools: TensorFlow, Python, OpenCV, Keras.

sql-project icon sql-project

Four Parts: 1) Create Database 2) Develop Queries 3) Data Fragmentation 4) SQL Query Processing

team-tron-rl icon team-tron-rl

Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning project exploring the emergence and evolution of cooperative strategies.

terminal-text-editor-c- icon terminal-text-editor-c-

A terminal-based text editor in C++, decidedly simpler than editors like vim, emacs, or nano, but it does have some of the key features we expect to see
