is there any update to this? i have also tried adding the switch but I'm getting service not found
from broadlinkirtools.

i'm having the same issue. Was able to connect to HA and to broadlink but get the error service not found

just fixed using a tip from a different question:

I've added switch into configuration.yaml but it is still service not found
switch:
- platform: broadlink
host: 192.168.1.156
mac: B4:43:0D:F9:2C:XX
I can tell service is changed to 'remote.learn_command' from dev tools
from broadlinkirtools.
