Yeah - that's a problem isn't it. The issue is that Kendo UI as a product is Kendo UI. I named the repo outside of those guidelines. The bower package was an attempt to go back in the right direction. We do have the kendo-ui package in Bower. That would put angular-kendo-ui right inline. Still think it's a bad idea?

No, but you should synchronize both.
You are able to rename the repo in github - but you need to update the repo path in the bower registry also.
