Error $scope is not defined when js function called from column template about angular-kendo

The changes are on separate branch - compile-kendo-grid-rows and you can play with it in this plunker - http://plnkr.co/edit/F3IFhf?p=preview. The button in each of the row is defined in columns.template. In the template, you can get access to the row's data using {{dataItem}}.
