Reference: https://docs.ansible.com/ansible/latest/galaxy/dev_guide.html#creating-roles-for-galaxy

Basically, there are 3 ways to do this:

  1. the UI way

    1. Login to https://galaxy.ansible.com/
    2. My Content -> Add Content
  2. the CLI way

    1. ansible-galaxy login
    2. ansible-galaxy import github_user github_repo
  3. the CI way

    1. Add a .travis.yml file with the following snippet in addition to normal .travis.yml content
      notifications:
          webhooks: https://galaxy.ansible.com/api/v1/notifications/

    2. Configure the repo to use Travis
    3. Trigger a build manually or via push
