@eestein , sorry for the late response.
This may be a bit of inconsistence but was a deliberate one.
The third case is more complex since some items have changes position, others were included or excluded, so I decided to do a more detailed diff to be more explicity of the changes. The first and second cases should also be represented on this way, but since the list were empty the algorithm could do a faster comparison.
