I mean display this code on the bundle display page:

    git=https://github.com/Knp/KnpMenuBundle
    target=/bundles/Knp/MenuBundle

So that people can easily paste it in their deps file. You will have to calculate the target and git URL though for each bundle.

I still think this "deps" file is a bad idea. Git submodules are just made for that, and far more standardized.

The only reason why some use deps file is literally: "git submodules can be difficult to work with at times."

But it can be a good idea to highlight dependencies by parsing the deps file (if any) or the .gitmodules file.

Yeah i know, it was just my personal thoughts :)

The idea you have to display dependencies is good whatever the support used :)

I think rather than calculate is to display the composer line nowadays since deps are already deprecated.
