ShellCheck successfully parses many zsh and ksh scripts, but the most shell specific features like ksh namespaces are not yet supported. Feel free to file bugs when ShellCheck fails to parse zsh and ksh syntax.
You also get different warnings based on the shell. ShellCheck looks at the shebang to determine whether it's ksh, zsh, bash or sh, and defaults to bash if the shebang is missing or unrecognized.
