Only localize the parent page about cms

Maybe there might have a option: Localize with child pages, or localize only me.

We have discussed about this issue.

Keep the all functions right now, just add a new feature to show what pages was added after the parent page was localized. The manager can select them to sync into child sites.

We have a new problem related to this issue:
With a page tree like this:

• HomePage
  • MyAccount

If HomePage is localized, at the moment MyAccount is localized as well. If the customer then unlocalizes MyAccount, the page just disappears.

Long time no see. I miss the days working with you. Hope everything goes well.

I just asked the kooboo team. This bug in in the bug list but not yet fixed. The kooboo team said that the fix of this bug will affect the basic structure of the pages. So they have to discuss it and find a compromise.

A solution the fix that is:

Add a “Synchronize sub pages” button in the page list top menu bar. When you click the button, the popup window will show a list of pages existing in the same directory in parent site but not exists in the current site. Then you can select one or many unsynchronized pages to synchronize to the current directory (act the same as localize).

If the solution was selected, the button will also add to the page tree.

How do you think about this solution?

I too miss working with you :)

I think the best solution would be to have them in the page tree show as not synced. Maybe add a different color to the items that are not synced. Something like this:

But for now I think that the "Synchronize sub pages"-button sounds like a great idea.

Do you have any estimate as to when this could be implemented?

Thank you so much. Just tried it out, works like a clock! (Nothing else was expected though ;)

I have one request/question though, is it possible to not use the word Delete?

I think this could be confusing for the user. Even though you actually delete the page, I think the user could need a hint that tells them this is a localized page?

Yes, I think it is better. It is "Unlocalize" before, but some people suggest to change to "Delete", we will discuss it for more.

Maybe something along the lines of "Delete (Local)" or "Delete Localized"?
