There is definitely a problem in young_project_tensor, will investigate. For these type of problems, decomposing the product in one shot usually works better, that is, use young_project_product (which has another problem: no docs. But it does give 0 here).

That notebook does not hang the system for me. Can you please verify that if you load this in a freshly started cadabra-gtk you get a hang? If so, let me know the build number (select 'about' in the 'help' menu).

On my system it hangs every time. I build it from the FreeBSD port, git tag=85ac041.
