Does anyone know if Doctrine is now compatible APCU for the Metadata Cache?

@mnapoli can you use xdebug to profile this one?

Thanks @Ocramius ... it'd be nice to know if this is cleared up with latest sources ...

@krakjoe knowing @mnapoli, he probably already tried this with latest doctrine/orm:master
(2.5.x)

I meant apcu ones, but thought you could help with telling me if this is my problem or if it's gone or whatever ...

Ah sorry guys I can't be of more help here, this was quite some time ago and the project since moved to Memcached (because of that) and I'm not working there anymore.
I really wish I knew more what that was about. I'm going to copy-paste the content of the Doctrine issue here so that it can be found using the search, and so if anyone meets the same problem it can be reopened. In the meantime, maybe it's better to close this and wait to see if it reproduces for someone else.
I have to admit the profiling done by New Relic was really weird (numbers didn't add up). Maybe it was New Relic causing that after all? I think I never tried to reproduce it locally, didn't have time. I tried Memcached and it just worked.

Okay fair enough, going to close the issue then ...
