Godot game, small simple shape space shooter game
This is a game build using the Godot engine. There are currently no binaries in this project, just use the Godot (free/opensource) engine to play the game. Used Godot 3.2.4b2 (18nov2020) https://downloads.tuxfamily.org/godotengine/3.2.4/beta2/
This small game was a way for me to learn Godot. The game is not finished and is mainly configured for debugging. Your play with the mouse and keyboard.
Currently active:
- kickback when enemy is hit
- sounds
- enemy will 'dodge' your bullets
- enemy will 'shrink' when hit
- enemy spawn rate controlled
- player aiming line/laser
- shooting (reload) rate control based on ammount of bullets in field
- player health counter
- ...
Todo:
- refactoring
- add effect when player gets hit
