Thank you for submitting an issue!
It seems like it is a gRPC reflection related bug because Evans without gRPC reflection shows Blog message normally.
Also I'll try to fix it tomorrow.

FYI @ktr0731 , this is coming from a student from my course. The project is here https://github.com/simplesteph/grpc-go-course/tree/master/blog. To reproduce, just run mongodb in the backend docker run -p 27017:27017 mongo:4, install the mongodb driver: go get github.com/mongodb/mongo-go-driver/mongo and you should be good to do go run blog/blog_server/server.go, which has reflection enabled: evans -p 50051 -r

I fixed the bug at #126.
Please update Evans to 0.6.8.
