I'm actually going to reopen this because it looks like it may be an issue with both the ui and server having react and react-dom as dependencies. It looks like the there are two suggestions to fix the problem.
- Move the
reactandreact-domdependencies up a directory into the main monorepo folder. This comment provided an example of that. - Use lerna. I don't see any comments confirming that it actually fixes the problem.
I'm open to suggestions and PRs!

Digging deeper, it seems it's directly caused by vercel/next.js#9022, so not the issue of this repo itself.

Yes, actually I solved it by moving the dependencies one level up, too. Worked for me. I closed it as it's basically the Next's issue, but in fact you're right, the issue with the example being broken exists here. I'd prepare the PR when I have a moment.
