Hi @priyasilverstein @christinabergmann I'm just wondering how preferential looking is different from forced choice (FC), as this is how @mllewis coded the live gaze following dataset?

• - [ ] change both to cog dev domain

Hi, That might be important for descriptions: Pref looking would then be used if it’s a measure of how long a baby looked, and forced choice if we code first look.

I added a description to FC in spec.yaml to clarify this

I think preferential looking is an umbrella term for various methods we have listed: HPP, CF, looking_while_listening, and in all cases the dependent measure is 'looking_time'. Whereas when coding first looks, the method is 'FC' and dependent measure is 'target_selection'
