Yeah that's true. I've been working on v2 on master and hoping to release that somewhere this month.

Are you sure? This syntax was introduced in PHP 7.1: https://secure.php.net/manual/en/migration71.new-features.php

Whoops my bad, I was in a PHP 7.0 env. I’ll update the issue

PHP 7.0 is EOL and not supported anymore sorry.

Yeah that was my guessing but wouldn’t it make sense to add the supported PHP version in the composer.json file?
