No data received about pullup

OK, it seems like the root route '/' does nothing. However, /login works fine and I get a response.

I've managed to create my GitHub application, in order to log in on my local instance. After login, it seems that I am redirected to '/', but it does not respond so I can't do anything.

This needs to be fixed. I'll look into it and probably submit my own pull request :)

Yeah, I've confirmed what you're seeing. There is no response from "/" whether logged in or not. I've updated my GitHub Application url to be /account to workaround.

The "/" route seems to be working for me locally, whether logged in or out. What do your github application settings look like? The instructions are (I believe) in hackathon-starter-readme.md

Actually, I am able to log in. The problem is does not seem to be from my github application settings.

I resolved the issue and submitted a pull request. It came from the fact that I had no news items in my database.

Still getting acquainted with GitHub issues and pull requests.

I closed this issue, but it's actually not completely resolved yet. It will be when my pull request gets merged. Reopening until it's solved.
