@xperiandri It is not available for Visual Studio 2015 and has not been tested with at the moment
from gitdiffmargin.
I've been using it with Visual Studio 2015 Preview (previously referred to as the Visual Studio "14" CTPs) but haven't run into any errors like this.
The specific call to GetFullPath
where this error occurred is using the file name reported for the currently open document. The specific version of Visual Studio shouldn't make any difference in what gets reported for this, but could depending on what changed in the project system. While we could add a try
/catch
block around this code to suppress the error message, it would have the undesired side effect of completely disabling Git Diff Margin for the affected file(s). If you can provide more information about how to reproduce this issue (a sample project would be ideal), we can try to find a solution that preserves the functionality of this extension.

Do you use Visual Studio as Diff and Merge tool for Git?

Normally I use Git Extensions (external UI), but I have the Microsoft Git Provider enabled in Visual Studio 2015 for Solution Explorer glyphs and Code Lens.
