Rule counters don't update during runtime about python-iptables

As a workaround, I am doing this:

    iptc.Chain._cache = weakref.WeakValueDictionary()
    iptc.Table._cache = dict()
    prerouting = iptc.Chain(iptc.Table(iptc.Table.MANGLE), 'PREROUTING')

Which corrects the issue, but doesn't really seem like the proper way of handling this to me

Try this:

    import time, sys
    import iptc

    table = iptc.Table(iptc.Table.FILTER)

    chain = iptc.Chain(table, 'OUTPUT')
    for rule in chain.rules:
            (packets, bytes) = rule.get_counters()
            print packets, bytes

    print "Please send some traffic"
    sys.stdout.flush()
    time.sleep(30)

    table.refresh()

    for rule in chain.rules:
            (packets, bytes) = rule.get_counters()
            print packets, bytes

The key is that the underlying iptables connection needs to be refreshed so you get fresh counters. Maybe this would be worth exposing via an API - I'm open to suggestions.
