I don't see how adding an extra command is making the Wiki more beginner friendly.
You failed to consider that you need to also add an extra cd to exit the folder, therefore it makes it harder for a non Terminal user to understand what's going on and will result in questions like "I get an error that folder doesn't exist"

3 extra, useless, commands that add more points of failure.

Since I've seen many people fail to even install the terminal itself from the right place, I doubt adding extra steps would solve anything, let alone more "beginner friendly" for an advanced installation.
