Thanks for the find! Just so you know though I dropped the latest version of gitteh, which has actually removed the need for addEntry()/removeEntry() in Tree objects. Instead, tree entries are just in an array as a property on the Tree (tree.entries[]).

aha. Let's say I have a tree. then removing an entry from this array property and saving tree is enough. ha?! very good. I'm writing a module on top of gitteh. Maybe we can collaborate on designing it. Now it is just a wiki module using git as file storage. but I want to develop it to be a handful module for working with gitteh and github.

That's correct! As it happens though, saving Trees is currently unimplemented as it was broken in the latest libgit2 stable release.
However, it's already back in the devel branch, so it'll be making its way back to gitteh 0.2.0 (which will be released as soon as libgit2 0.12.0 lands).
As a headsup though, the "standard" for creating a Tree is actually to take the Git Index and save that as a tree (also coming in gitteh 0.2.0).
