I got the server to start and the dashboard seems like it works. I haven't gotten the server to do anything yet because there is no client library and I haven't looked into adding data manually.
https://lindb.io/guide/lin-ql.html
I noticed that you have linql, is there a plan to enable people to use that directly as a language that people can use with a client rather than just as part of the command line interface? Would that work like a postgres client? I am interested in learning about that. Would that just be a tls connection that you can send linql statements? Would it return json? csv? Some other format? Maybe that is already working? I haven't gotten that far yet.
Rest
I think that the client libraries that you have must be using http and also possibly rest? Right? I was thinking of trying to make one for node.js if i can figure out how your api works. Do you have a reference that explains the various aspects of how that api works? I noticed there are something like channels and points? Points have tags and fields? Is there a json schema? What endpoints are there? Does it work by just sending requests to the host address? Let me know if you have more information, maybe I will examine the go and java libraries more if you don't have a spec.

- LinDB has simple command line client(https://lindb.io/guide/cli.html) like mysql/postgres, but CLI just queries metric data and the state of cluster, because LinDB supports writing data schema-free, so currently not support writing data via CLI;
- LinDB CLI build on the rest api(https://lindb.io/api/), and sends LinQL statement will return json result;
- Some basic concepts about LinDB data model please ref(https://lindb.io/guide/concept.html);
- add new doc to describe how go/java client work(https://lindb.io/guide/client/);
