problems with installation about filebrowser

Hello @techie879,

The simplest way of setting things up is to simply replace the /var/www/html directory with a symlink to filebrowser/dist. Then, if you follow all of the instructions in our documentation, you should be up in no time!

no luck . I did exactly the way as instructed. I still get a black page. Okay, I finally was able to bring up the UI. I had to symlink the filebrowser directory to /var/www/html . Now I am trying to access a network mounted directory. 'storage' => [ 'driver' => [ 'config' => [ 'separator' => '/', 'config' => [], 'adapter' => function () { return new \League\Flysystem\Adapter\Local( // REPOSITORY_ROOT * dfs6* ); }, ], in the above setup 'dfs6' is a mounted filesystem. I assume there is no such support for that? I can see there is a directory created in the 'dist' folder called 'dfs6' . thanks

Happy to see that it is working as expected! :)

As for the mounted file system, it depends on how it is mounted. If it is mounted using the Linux file system (including NFS), it should work out of the box. If it mounted using other means, it will also work out of the box, if it is compatible with the PHP Flysystem library (please see https://filebrowser.readthedocs.io/en/latest/configuration/storage.html).

Thanks! I will try again . This is what I have for mounting the NFS mounted share. It's called DFS6 . // Choose one of the following 'storage' => [ 'driver' => [ 'config' => [ 'separator' => '/', 'config' => [], 'adapter' => function () { return new \League\Flysystem\Adapter\Local( // REPOSITORY_ROOT dfs6 ); }, ], what I noticed instead - that it has created a directory called 'dfs6' in the dist folder. Also, while trying to write to the share , it created a the file owner:group with apache.

The directory should be mounted on the 'repository' folder, not the 'dist' folder, in order for it to work correctly out of the box. Also, make sure the Web server can read/write to the mounted file system.
