providing volume for /config seems to get overriden by container about docker-swag

How did you determine config volume is not mounted to container?

This line here ./config:/config

The ./config folder are you using that in other containers?

I'm guessing your .yml file is in a subdirectory and also all your other docker containers are using subfolders in there? Try specifying the full folder path and make your life easy by naming it per application, so:

/your/docker/configs/root/folder/swag:/config

I determined that config is not mounted by inspecting /config inside container, and not seeing it contain same files as in local config folder.
I am not using this folder in other containers.
Changing relative path to full path has no effect.

@venil7 what OS you using? And can you try a fresh install with a new /config and post the logs from that first setup. You can redact your personal details.

after fresh install it started working
