image reading issue with bbfdetect stable about ccv

If you don't use the ruby script to, it will output the coordinates of detected faces on input image terminal.

I did read about the usage, but got the following error:
command line: bbfdetect ../samples/book.png model_folder
error: bbfdetect: bbfdetect.c:49: main: Assertion `image != 0' failed.

Is this how you ran bbfdetect?
bbfdetect ../samples/book.png output_folder

sorry, my typo (now corrected in the original msgs). However, my problem was with ccv_read() not reading the sample png image properly, returning image as 0

You might want to make sure libpng is installed and linked to libccv when compiling. You can try to run bbfdetect with pictures in other formats.
